Oddly enough, I had planned on updating everyday for the summer, and sadly, that hasn’t happened. I am totally lapsing in everything except school right now.
For those who don’t know, I’m attending the University of Phoenix Online and getting my AA in Paraprofessional Education. From there I will be working on a Bachelor’s in Education (English) and then a Masters in Education (History). I haven’t decided if I want to go on from there to get a PhD in History or not.
In the writing world, nothing has really happened. I’m trying to work on getting my Nocturni series up and running, but Lucian isn’t having it. He isn’t talking to me like I thought he would. Maybe it’s a sign that his story isn’t the first one I should tell. Which then leaves me with the idea. What if I were to tie the McCowan Sisters (each series has a separate blog, by the way) and have one of them be the lifemate (more on that later) to one of my Nocturni? Wouldn’t that be interesting? But, for some reason, that sounds cliche. And I don’t want to rewrite a cliche.
On the Finding Avalon aspect of things, I haven’t really looked at it yet. Aurelia is just sitting quietly, awaiting her turn in the spot light. She voices her opinion sometimes; her main concern is that she has no hero to fall in love with yet.
The McCowan sisters, they’re all silent. I haven’t really worked with them yet. Just got the idea down on paper for the basis of the five book series.
So, all in all, school and work have taken up most of my time lately.
Someone remind me to update at least once a week?
